So I found a DVD of Nate and Cheese: A New Dope at my local Salvation Army.
I was excited, I brought it home and popped it in. And guess what? No data.

Do you think this is a game? I payed good money for that. I could have bought a pack of gum instead.
Instead I had to spend entire seconds googling "Nate and Cheese". I mean, I tried "A New Dope", but all I got was that stupid comic con weed documentary. God, that documentary was terrible.

Anyways, this all brought me back to the good old days of watching half baked flash cartoons on Newgrounds. Your jokes were sub par, voice acting like nails on a chalk board, sloppy art, barely existent animation, and don't even get me started on the pacing.

Pretty good. Thanks for bringing me back to Newgrounds. If you've stopped making art, stop stopping. Make more art. You were born an artist, die one as well.

Charming!

Got me chuckling quite a few times while watching it, catchy song too.

Great stuff!

I came into this flash expecting it to be a rehashed sequel, yet instead I was delighted. You really did a great job on this! You didn't repeat the humor of the original, nor did you lose it's essence. You did an awesome job of expanding it and establishing it as a series rather than a one-shot skit.

While your artwork is good, I'd love to see it catch up with your writing skill. I'm looking forward to future installments! Thanks for the entertainment!

Not Bad

The art and animation were alright, but could definitely use some work, same thing with the voice acting.

The plot is a little stale, not necessarily a bad one, just one that's been used plenty before.

I felt it was over before I could really get a feel for it though, and the ending was very ill timed. Looking forward to more stuff from you.

I thought it was good

The major thing I like about this was how much it felt like a classic anime. Even the voice acting had that familiar feel to it, although being a bit down in quality.

I felt the art seemed rushed, in some scenes it was decent while others just terrible. The eyes especially changed in size and quality, it was distracting.

The animation itself was pretty good, a little choppy, but fitting. At least in the action scenes that is, much of the dialog animation was poor, even for anime standards.

The plot was interesting, even if simply a set up for a battle series. However the pacing was the worst element of this. I felt that while this had much of the same charms of classic anime, it also shared in the pitfalls. There was too much of the long dialog scenes with the over the top explanations. I felt it might have even been done on purpose when they kept talking about the fight they were about to have. Either way I felt it just really dulled the Flash down from it's full potential.

It was definitely worth a watch and I'm looking forward to see how this series goes, it's made very impressive progress so far.

Great stuff

As usual great character designs and voices. I felt it started off a little slow, but then the dialogue kept hitting my funny bone. I almost split my sides when he was having his war flashback. I really liked how you're always able to keep the dialogue interesting with minimal body language. Nice work!

Great concept

I'm glad you made a second one. I always love the charm you bestow on all of your animations. Looking forward to more from you.

with this one we had a ceremony, "I hereby bestow upon you charm"

Nice, but needs work

The strong point in the flash is definitely the plot. You also did a pretty nice job staging your scenes, as it was pretty clear what was happening in every shot.

The weak points are most definitely the art/animation and the pacing. It's fine to draw in a style using simple shapes, but try and keep things proportional. Also, avoid reusing animation. If the character happens to do the same thing multiple times, try using different angles.

It's nice, but try and spend more time on the next piece. Make every frame a work of art! If you're not completely satisfied with a scene, it's not finished! Looking forward to more from you!

ookk... :)

Great stuff!

I really liked this, it was really funny!
Pretty good animation on the zombie.
The voice acting was really good as well.

Well, not the worst Powerthirst tribute I've seen

The humor was good at times, and at others not so much. Same applies for the art.
The biggest points I give you is in audio quality, which wasn't so bad.
Good luck to your friend Tommy, I hope everything works out.

I make cartoons. I'm not even afraid of spiders.
